what London Escorts hate about escorts in America

While some men and women might love their job, many escorts in America hate what they do. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, the field is tough and demanding. That’s why we had London escort thinkpiece-writer Sophia talk to some of her American counterparts about what they hate about the profession.

She learned a lot from her British friends, but one thing stood out: American escorts find it difficult to provide for themselves because no one will hire them without a bachelor’s degree. And with few opportunities outside of this type of work, many of them end up working long hours solely for tips that barely cover their living costs. For many of them, it’s a struggle. Those who do succeed end up making a lot more money than they ever would have otherwise.

In the UK, no one needs a degree to get hired as an escort.

In America, it’s not just about the Intamacy. Certain men and women want so much more from an escort. In fact, some of them demand intimate experiences outside of what you can provide with your body. Or that you help with their homework while they’re on a business trip or that you plan their anniversary dinner while they’re traveling for work. They might not expect you to dress like a Barbie, but many escorts in America end up catering to the needs of their clients and trying to please them in ways that feel unnatural and untrue.

American escorts face a lot of problems unlike London escorts at London X City Escorts, but we’d like to talk about one that we find interesting: They hate college-educated escorts. In fact, the more educated American escorts are, the more they hate them.

You see, in America they don’t have any real social mobility. Good jobs don’t come easy. For example, I was born and raised in New York City—that’s where I met my husband and raised my children—but it wasn’t easy for me to find a good job.

I worked for a few years as a secretary after high school, then went to college and earned my bachelor’s degree, but I still couldn’t find a decent-paying job without some kind of assistance. Eventually, I ended up taking money from an ex-boyfriend so that he could pay for my tuition at the university where he had gotten his degree.

Most men and women would never do that. I would never do that.

When I finally graduated from college, I knew that I needed to find a job pretty quickly, to pay my bills and feed myself. And I did. It wasn’t a good job—it paid minimum wage and only offered me a small amount of paid time off each year. But it was something, at least.

Fast forward a few years, and I’m working even harder to help my husband with his London escort business as his secretary and as a London escort. This is the kind of work that pays well if you can stand it. The last thing you want as an escort is for your customers to feel like they’re getting the worst service ever just because you hate your job so much.

But why do so many American escorts hate college-educated women in the same field? It’s true that we have a lot of things in common. Many of us dated our clients and helped them get their degrees, and we were there when they graduated. We both understand the demands of our jobs and how it can affect us, but for some reason they hate us even more.

I don’t think it’s because we’re competition for them, or that they’re jealous that we’ve got better jobs than them—though that’s something you always need to be aware of: Women like to feel like they’re better than other women. But I think it might come down to the fact that we make more money than them.
